About The SportingDomains.com Service Outreach Program

SportingDomains owner Larry Dale of rural Petersburg, Illinois is a lifelong hunter, shooter, archer, and fisherman. Larry is the IDNR Master Hunter Safety Instructor (Illinois DNR) for Menard County, and is also a certified archery instructor. He served from 1999 to 2004 as the Charter Chapter President of the New Salem Longbeards Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, leading it from just 3 guys talking in a pizza parlor to NWTF 5-Star Chapter status. Larry is also a DU and NRA member who has previously served on banquet committees for these organizations. His current activities include serving as the webmaster of the Menard Archers Archery Club, Chapter President of the new Prairie Rockets Chapter of Quail Forever, webmaster for the Springfield Tactical Shooters (USPSA,) and webmaster for the Spoon River Chapter of NAVHDA (North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association.

Like many other sportsmen who volunteer their time and money in support of worthwhile sporting organizations, Larry is concerned about "giving back" to the resources that have provided so much to himself and his family. Therefore, it is company policy to provide an extra level of personal support to appropriate non-profit sporting organizations, with a special emphasis on supporting sporting educational programs that are targeted towards serving youth activities, women participants, or beginners of all types and ages. Currently, the majority of our outreach efforts are concentrated locally in the Central Illinois area surrounding Petersburg, Illinois.
